The Flying Doctor

An arranged marriage, and a whimsical plan to bring two true lovers back together is the basis of the story of The Flying Doctor, originally written by Molière. Perchance’s long time company member, Evan Mercer, has it all shagged up to a 1990’s Newfoundland and Labradorian world filled with jokes and references that bring the time and place alive with glee. This romp of a play is directed by Danielle Irvine in the style of commedia dell’arte - best described as live action cartoons for all ages.
